I believe my mother gave me a name that's one of the easiest to spell in the history of 'namedom'. But for some inexplicable reasons, my brothers and sisters here cannot get it right. It stumps me. It's not like my name is Scheherazade.

My last name "Brett" became Bret.
And they finally get my first names right, Karen Wendy. But I end up being a man.
Does the erroneous spelling of my name/s irk me? Yes, a tiny part of my obsessive self shouts for justice. But at the end of the day, I concede that my attempts to correct them will still end up with them writing my name the way they deem it right. I just learned to shrug it off. And yes, laugh it off.
